ANALISIS PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA PADA USAHA MIKRO KECIL DAN MENENGAH (UMKM) KERUPUK AMPLANG DI KECAMATAN KUMAI, KABUPATEN KOTAWARINGIN BARAT

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have a role in creating new jobs, so as to reduce the unemployment rate in Kumai District, Kotawaringin Barat Regency. In its development, MSMEs play a role in absorbing workers who have not been absorbed in the formal sector.
This study aims to determine what variables can affect the absorption of workforce of cracker amplang micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Kumai District, seen from several predetermined variables, namely business units, capital, production value, and wages. This study uses secondary data and primary data. This study uses quantitative analysis and multiple linear regression methods using SPSS 16.0.
The results showed that each variable, namely the business unit variable and the production value variable had a positive and insignificant effect on the absorption of MSME amplang cracker workers in Kumai District. The capital variable has a positive and significant effect on the absorption of MSME workforce of amplang crackers in Kumai District. The wage variable has a negative and insignificant effect on the absorption of MSME workforce of amplang crackers in Kumai District. The most dominant factor or variable affecting the absorption of MSME workforce of cracker amplang in Kumai District is the variable capital
